Changelog Update #18 - Build from Dockerfile support in the control panel, improved deployment experience, new Node.js and Yarn versions, Upstash Redis database integration documentation

Hi everyone and welcome to this week’s changelog update!

We’re excited to bring you the latest developments and improvements. Let’s dive in and explore what’s new this week:

  1. Build from Dockerfile support in the control panel

We have added build from Dockerfile support in the control panel as part of the Dockerfile technical preview introduced last week.

With this update, you can select the Dockerfile builder in the control panel, allowing you to enjoy the platform’s built-in CI pipeline while using a Dockerfile to specify how to build your applications.

  2. Improved deployment experience

We updated our retry policies when your services are not able to start properly. On average, it now takes approximately 2 minutes to determine if a deployment failed.

  3. New Node.js and Yarn versions

We added support for Node.js 20.2.0 and Yarn 4.00-rc.44.

  4. Upstash Redis database integration documentation

We released a new database integration documentation to help you start using your Upstash Redis database with an application running on the platform.

Thank you for taking the time to read this update. If you have ideas for new features or improvements, we encourage you to share them!

Stay tuned for next week’s changelog update!
