Changelog #68 - Volumes: fixed permission for non-root users, update settings of paused Services, and more

Hello, and welcome to this week’s changelog update!

Since our last changelog update, we shipped five major announcements to bring your deployment experience to the next level during our second launch week! Check out the recap including a new Dashboard and Networking stack, Volumes and the AWS region in public preview, and Paris and Tokyo regions GA.

Let’s dive into what’s new:

  1. Volumes: Fixed permission for non-root users

Volume permission and ownership are now properly set to the user used to launch the application. Previously, applications launched as non-root weren’t able to write on the Volume.

  2. Update the settings of paused Services

You can now update the settings of a paused Service. This is useful for setting changes before resuming the Service. Previously, a Service had to be resumed before allowing setting changes.

  3. Autoscaling: Decrease the maximum scale at any time

You can now decrease the maximum number of Instances of an autoscaling policy at any time. Previously, if a Service was running on 5 instances, you could not set the maximum scale below 5.

  4. New tutorial: Using ComfyUI, ComfyUI Manager, and Flux to Generate High-Quality Images on Koyeb

This week’s tutorial showcases how to generate high-quality images with ComfyUI and Flux. Check it out and create amazing visuals using AI and Koyeb GPUs.
