Changelog #73 - Volume Snapshots in Public Preview, enhanced experience in service scaling, and more

Hello, and welcome to this week’s changelog update! Let’s dive into what’s new:

  1. Volume Snapshots in Public Preview

We are thrilled to announce that Volume Snapshots are now in public preview. With Snapshots, you can create point-in-time copies of your Volumes, preventing data loss and enabling data movement between services. Snapshots are automatically stored in a highly-available and durable remote store.

  2. Enhanced experience in service scaling

We’ve merged the fixed scaling and autoscaling sections. You can now set minimum and maximum scaling values, reducing scaling configuration complexity. Set the minimum and maximum values identically to use fixed scaling. Bonus point: you can now scale a service up to 20 instances.

  3. Bulk import secret

You can now import your secret in bulk, enabling faster secret creation when you have multiple secrets to create on Koyeb. Previously, you could only create 1 secret at a time.

  4. New tutorial: Use FLUX, PyTorch, and Streamlit to Build an AI Image Generation App

In Rishi’s tutorial, learn how to use FLUX, PyTorch, and Streamlit to build an AI image generation app. You’ll have a scalable image generation service at the end of the tutorial. You can even skip the tutorial and deploy it in one click.
