I run a service which cannot have two instances at once cuz the keys expire if it detects multiple connections.
Whenever I change some settings/vars, it takes around 5 mins for previous deployment to shut down after the new one gets healthy, which create two instances for a brief period n the keys expire. so please allow updating/adding vars when service is paused or give a way to kill current deployment so I can manually start a new one after I’m done changing settings.
