After redeploying, the console window is messed up. I get this “failed_precondition” message. I have to refresh the browser for the message to go away.

When you click redeploy, a new instance is created when it reaches Healthy status the old one is terminated. So for the few minutes both old and new instances can be selected on the Console tab. On the top right corner you will be able to select a new instance.
I understand that it is inconvenient and confusing, and we will try to improve it in the future.
