Hello, and welcome to this week’s changelog update! Let’s dive into what’s new:
-
Newly Created Services Now Accept Traffic Immediately
We’ve significantly reduced the time it takes for a newly created service to accept and serve traffic.
Previously, we waited for health checks to pass before routing traffic to the service. With this change, routing starts the moment your application starts listening on the service-defined ports, even if health checks haven’t completed yet.
-
Fixed Instance Healthiness Reporting During New Deployments
In some cases, during the promotion of new deployments, instances briefly flapped between healthy and unhealthy states, even though all of them were actually healthy. This issue has been resolved, and health check status now accurately reflects the current state of each instance.
