I have a free instance that was running fine with the standard provided Koyeb domain and all of a sudden it I started getting a CERT_HAS_EXPIRED error. I haven’t changed anything. What happened?

This has nothing to do with the certificate associated to the public url.
The certificate you embed in the repo has expired.
$ openssl x509 -enddate -noout -in ca.crt
notAfter=May 17 18:31:25 2024 GMT
