Changelog #105: Koyeb Sandboxes now available in public preview, tool calling now easier to enable for one-click deploy models, and more

Welcome to this week’s changelog! Here’s what’s new at Koyeb:

  1. Koyeb Sandboxes now available in public preview

Koyeb already enables teams to orchestrate and run AI-generated code, and the addition of Koyeb Sandboxes to our Python SDK builds on that foundation, streamlining the process so it’s easier than ever to spin up fast, scalable, isolated environments for coding agents, reinforcement learning, vibe coding, AI workflows, and more.

  2. Tool calling now easier to enable for one-click deploy models

To support AI agents and workflows, you can now directly configure TOOL_CALL_PARSER and ENABLE_AUTO_TOOL_CHOICE from a model’s one-click deploy page. Check out the vLLM docs for model support and more.

If you build something using a one-click deploy model and tool calling, we’d love to see it! Post your projects on the Show and Tell category of the Koyeb community.

  3. New tutorial - Deploy Unsloth quickstart

Our latest tutorial, Deploy Unsloth on Koyeb for Lightning-Fast LLM Training, gives you a quick primer on how to get up and running with Unsloth on Koyeb and fine-tune a model in a matter of minutes.

  4. New one-click - Qwen 3 Coder 30B A3B Instruct with tool calling

Qwen 3 Coder 30B A3B Instruct is now available as a one-click deploy model. This code-generation model works great in partnership with Koyeb Sandboxes, letting you generate code in isolated, ephemeral environments.
